Upon receiving your application:
Our Program Director will contact you to set up a introductory phone call to discuss our Certification Program and answer any questions you may have. Thereafter, a meeting will be scheduled with you and the Program Director in the studio to carefully review the Certification Program Manuals and answer any further questions you may have.
COMPREHENSIVE PILATES MAT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM OVERVIEW
90 Total Mat Program Hours -All live in studio! (Also offered virtually, if you live out of state or country).
(30 Hours of Live Group Program Lecture in studio with Expert Teacher Trainer).
(60 Hours of Student Practice time in studio)..
Group Programs are available to take Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall.

WINTER 2025 GROUP MAT PILATES CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Total Program : 90 hours
starts Sat. jan. 11
3 Weekends of Lecture: 30 Total Hours
Taught live in studio by Expert Teacher Trainer
Lecture includes: The History of Pilates, Introduction of the Skeleton and Muscular Systems, Integration of Anatomy, Biomechanics and Movement Science, The Five Categories of Effective Cueing, The Art of Observation and Modification, Classical and Contemporary Pilates Choreography, How to Create an Effective Pilates Mat Class. Student will also each other and be given assessments, evaluations and recommendations from the Expert Teacher Trainer. Written Test is given in the second weekend.
First Weekend: Jan. 11, 12, (1pm-6pm)
Second Weekend : Jan. 18, 19, (1pm-6pm)
Third Weekend: Jan. 25, 26, (1pm-6pm)
If you miss any part of lecture you can make it up privately at a rate of $100 per hour. (Every two hours of missed group is equal to one hour of private make-up).
Student Practice: 60 Total Hours
The studio is always available for students to practice.
20 hours of Self Practice of Mat Choreography Exercises -Can be done outside the studio.
10 hours of Unsupervised Teaching with another Mat Student. Can be done virtually or in studio.
5 hours of Observation. Can be done observing our in studio Mat Classes, Virtual Classes or Videos on Demand.
10 hours Supervised teaching in studio. You bring a friend to teach and our Teacher Training Experts assess you.
Teach 15 Classical Mat Classes. These classes must be taught in our studio.
When you’ve completed all of the lecture and practice hours, you are awarded a Gramercy Pilates NYC Certification School Certificate

The Tuition you pay for the Mat Certification Program covers everything you need to Graduate. There are no prerequisites!
Pay in full before the start of Program $2,500.
Early Bird Discount- register 14 days before start of Program save 10% off Tuition- pay $2,250.
Payment Plan: Pay over 3 months-$2,775 ($925/month)

50% off any additional Mat Classes you wish to purchase.
10% off of any private sessions you wish to purchase.
Please note: Credit cards that are declined when making a tuition payment will be charged a $50 administrative fee.

PRIVATE MAT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Take Our Mat Certification Program Privately with one of our Expert Teacher Trainers.
If you are unable to make the lecture group weekends of our Mat Certification Program, you may take it privately with one of our Expert Pilates Teacher Trainers. You would able to schedule your lecture hours when it’s most convenient for you. You may take it privately in the studio or virtually. It include 20 hours of private lecture and 60 hours of practice time.
Private Tuition -All Inclusive:
Pay Tuition in full when you register: $3,200
Or
Payment Plan: $3,600 total tuition- Pay half-$1,800 at tuition and the balance of $1,800 30 days after registering.

Cancellation, Refund and Change Policy:
Cancellation of the Mat Program must be received via email to the studio two weeks prior to the start of the Mat lecture.
A $250 Administrative Fee is applied to all refunds for the Mat Program.
No refunds are given for any reason if a cancellation is requested within two weeks prior to the start of the Mat Program.
If you purchase both programs together, you cannot cancel either program, once the first one has started.
If you have registered for the Mat Program, but cannot make the lecture dates, you may change to a future Program at a charge of $150.

Mat Certification Awarded
A Gramercy Pilates NYC Certification School Mat Certificate is awarded upon satisfactory completion of all required hours. Required hours include attending all of the Mat Program lecture hours and completing all of the practice time including apprentice teaching of 15 Mat classes at Gramercy Pilates NYC.
