COMPREHENSIVE EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
PROGRAM CURRICULUM
Beginner to Advanced Classical and Contemporary Equipment Choreography.
Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Barrel, Spine Corrector and other Props.
Students teach each other Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Choreography with Teacher Trainer Supervision.
Facilitating Client Alignment and Advanced Stretching Techniques with Equipment.
Students teach each other Facilitation Alignment and Advanced Stretching Techniques. with Teacher Trainer Supervision.
Special Populations/Clients with Injuries.
Students teach each other how to modify exercises for Special Population clients with Teacher Trainer Supervision.
STUDENT EQUIPMENT PRACTICE
(These hours are done in the studio and are included in your Tuition. You may take up to a full year to complete them).
Self practice. (80 Hrs.)
Observation of Classes and Privates (50 Hrs.)
Unsupervised teaching.(50 Hrs)
Supervised teaching.(30 Hrs.)
Apprentice Teaching (64 Hrs.)
ADDITIONAL SUPERVISION TAUGHT DURING STUDENTS PRACTICE TIME
Teaching various Reformer/Tower Equipment Classes in preparation for apprentice teaching in the studio.
Teaching progressive choreography on the Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Various Props. (taught during students practice time).
Free use of our studio for all student practice teaching..

A Gramercy Pilates NYC Certification School Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Certification is awarded upon satisfactory completion of all required Mat & Equipment hours and passing the final written and manual tests.
